News She Loves Me's Sally Mayes to Celebrate New Recording at the Duplex Sally Mayes will make her first New York City cabaret appearance in nearly four years Feb. 7 at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre.

Part of the Duplex's "Broadway Downtown" series, which features Broadway performers in a cabaret setting, the evening will celebrate Mayes' new CD, "Valentine." On her solo CD, which hits stores Feb. 11 on the Bayview Records label, Mayes interprets works by such songwriters as Richard Rodgers, Lorenz Hart, Duke Ellington, Amanda McBroom, Cy Coleman, Carolyn Leigh and Harry Warren.

Mayes' Duplex evening will feature songs from the new recording. Her repertoire for the Feb. 7 concert follows:
"My Romance"
"Is It Hot In Here"/"Sugar"
"I Got It Bad and That Ain't Good"
"In the Name of Love"
"Here's That Rainy Day"
"No Love No Nothin"
"Angel Eyes"
"The Best Is Yet to Come"/"You Fascinate Me So"
"The More I See You"
"My Funny Valentine"

On Broadway Sally Mayes has been seen in Urban Cowboy, Welcome to the Club (Theatre World Award, Outer Critics Circle nomination) and She Loves Me (Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations). Her Off-Broadway credits include Closer Than Ever (Outer Critics nomination), Das Barbecü, Pete 'n' Keely (Drama Desk nomination) and Dirty Blonde (first national tour). Mayes' screen credits feature roles in "City Hall," "Bye Bye Birdie," "Law & Order," "Sex and the City." Her solo recordings include "The Dorothy Fields Songbook," "Our Private World: The Comden and Green Songbook," "The Story Hour" and "Boys and Girls Like You and Me."

The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is located at 61 Christopher Street. Tickets, priced at $20 (there is also a two-drink minimum), are available by calling (212) 868-4444 or by visiting www.smarttix.com. Show time is 7 PM.
