News She Sings! She Dances! She Writes! Laura Benanti Will Pen Book of Comedic Essays Tony Award-winning actress Laura Benanti will pen a collection of comedic essays for St. Martin’s Press, according to Entertainment Weekly. The book is planned for publication in fall 2016.

The actress, who has starred on Broadway in Nine, Gypsy, In the Next Room and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, among others, will recall her moving to New York to pursue a career in show business. Benanti won the Tony Award for Featured Actress in a Musical for Gypsy and was nominated for Swing!, Into the Woods and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.

Benanti is currently starring in the New York Spring Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. Read reviews of the production here.
