As previously reported, Tony winner Barbara Cook is set to perform highlights from her latest recording, "Rainbow 'Round My Shoulder," at 7:30 PM on Jan. 6, 2009. The album's musical director, Lee Musiker, will accompany Cook for the live performance.

On Jan. 12, 2009, at 7 PM, actor Kyle Cameron and playwright Michael Northey will share excerpts from their hip-hop theatre work Cranked, which explores one man's addiction to crystal meth. The production will play a January 2009 engagement at the New Victory.

The cast of Off-Broadway's Marvelous Wonderettes will perform highlights from the musical, which delivers the iconic sounds of the fifties and sixties, Jan. 14, 2009 at 6 PM. A signing of the PS Classics cast recording will follow.

Crooner and pianist Tony DeSare (Our Sinatra) will sign and perform from his latest album "Radio Show" on Jan. 21, 2009 at 6 PM.

The Tony-winning songwriting team of Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens will celebrate the JAY Records cast recording of The Glorious Ones with a special performance by original Off-Broadway cast members Marc Kudisch, Erin Davie, Jeremy Webb and David Patrick Kelly on Jan. 23, 2009, at 5 PM. Broadway veteran Norm Lewis (The Little Mermaid, Side Show) performs highlights from his solo debut recording "This Is the Life!" Jan. 28, 2009, at 6 PM.

Tony nominee and showbiz legend Joan Rivers stops by Barnes and Noble to discuss and sign her new book, "Men are Stupid . . And They Like Big Boobs," offering insight and anecdotes about "life under the knife," Jan. 29, 2009 at 7:30 PM.

The month comes to a close with Tony and Grammy-winning Spring Awakening songwriter Duncan Sheik, who will offer selections from his latest album "Whisper House," inspired by his forthcoming musical of the same title. Spring Awakening cast member Holly Brook joins Sheik for the 6 PM performance on Jan. 30, 2009.
