News Sherie Rene Scott, Julie White, Anthony Rapp, Stephanie J. Block, Derek Klena and More Set for Second Stage Gala Second Stage Theatre's 35th anniversary gala celebration, honoring Second Stage artistic director Carole Rothman for her 35 years of supporting new works and artistic development, will be held May 5 at Terminal 5 in Manhattan.

This year's rock 'n' roll-themed gala will be attended by over 250 Second Stage alumni, who have worked at Second Stage Theatre during the past 35 years — from Brooke Adams and Polly Draper, who appeared in the very first season, to cast members from the current The Substance of Fire and the upcoming American Hero, which will make its New York premiere this summer at Second Stage Uptown.

Special guests participating in the evening's festivities include Lynn Nottage, Cynthia Nixon, Tony Goldwyn and more. Co-chairs for this year's gala are Tony James, Tony Kiser and George Loening.

The evening begins with cocktails at 6 PM; dinner and the performance begin at 7 PM. Scott Ellis directs, with choreography by Christopher Gattelli and musical direction by Carmel Dean

Block (Tony nominee for Mystery of Edwin Drood; Second Stage's Little Miss Sunshine and By The Way, Meet Vera Stark), Tony Award winner Julie White (Second Stage's Little Dog Laughed), Anthony Rapp (If/Then, Rent, Second Stage's Some Americans Abroad), Derek Klena (The Bridges of Madison County, Second Stage's Dogfight), Betsy Wolfe (Second Stage's Everyday Rapture and The Last Five Years), Becca Ayers (Dogfight), Jenn Colella (If/Then), Nick Cordero (Bullets Over Broadway), Mary Bridget Davies (A Night With Janis Joplin), Wilkie Ferguson III (Wonderland), Marcy Harriell (Sorrows and Rejoicings), Raymond Luke (Motown), Prince George Maynard (Motown), Lauren Molina (Nobody Loves You), Jaquez Sims (Motown), Ephraim Sykes (Motown), Wesley Taylor (Little Miss Sunshine), Julius Thomas III (Motown) and Morgan Weed (Saved).

The 35th Anniversary artistic director's table is priced at $35,000. Tables of 10 are priced at $25,000 (gold table) and $15,000 (silver table). Ticket pricing is as follows: $5,000 (platinum ticket), $2,500 (gold ticket), $1,500 (silver ticket) and $1,000 (vinyl table). Terminal 5 is located at 610 W. 56th Street.
