Tony Stevens (Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life) will direct and choreograph the production. Casting has yet to be announced.

The Sherman Brothers and Holt "have helped to oversee and are major contributors to this revisiting of the 'big band' musical," said Silverman. "Over Here! was a hit on Broadway in the 1970s. It was a 'vehicle' for the Andrews Sisters. In its chorus were an unusually large amount of future stars."

The two Shermans wrote the lyrics and music to the musical, while Holt wrote the book. The 1974, Tony-nominated musical originally starred John Travolta, Treat Williams, Marilu Henner, Ann Reinking and Janie Sell, who won the Tony for her performance.
