News SHINE Awards to Feature Broadway's Bell and Mapa Kristen Bell, who has appeared on Broadway in The Crucible and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and M. Butterfly's Alec Mapa will be presenters at the 20th Anniversary Shine (Sexual Health in Entertainment) Awards in Los Angeles.

Ben Rimalower, who helmed the recent all-star Snoopy concert, directs and produces the Oct. 16 evening at House of Blues. Julie Brown will host the one-night-only event, which honors both national and international TV programs for their "accurate and honest portrayals of adolescent sexual health issues." Among the evening's starry presenters are Laura Innes, Debi Mazar, Lupe Ontiveros, Sara Rue, Harris Allan, Callum Blue, Eric Lively, Persia White, Rachel Boston, Scott Clifton, Lindze Letherman, Taylor Ball, Kristen Bell, Michael Beach, Amy Jo Johnson, Keith Robinso, Melissa Gallo, Matthew Metzger, Greg Rikaart, Lisa Ann Walter, Alec Mapa, Jennifer Freeman, Benito Martinez, Brian White, Jamie Aymerich, Carlos Gomez, Carla Ortiz, Odalys Garcia, Bianka Campos, Abdel Largaespada and Dr. Drew Pinksy.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Advocates for Youth's AIDS and comprehensive sexual health programs for adolescents.
