Nevins, who usually hosts late-night shows at Caroline's and various clubs throughout the city, will offer his first "early" evening June 22. The Early Revue with Scott Nevins will be presented at 8 PM at the new Manhattan cabaret. Among those scheduled to perform are recent Wicked star Shoshana Bean as well as Bare's Natalie Joy Johnson, Lindsey Alley, Natalie Douglas, Kate Pazakis, Wendy Ho, Suzanne Fiore, Ritter Hanz and Alysha Umphress. Musical director Jonah Speidel will accompany the singers on the piano.

Shoshana Bean, who recently starred as Elphaba in Broadway's Wicked, played Shelley in the original cast of the Tony-winning musical Hairspray. Originally from Portland, Oregon, Bean attended the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music before heading to NYC. She was first cast in the Off-Broadway production of Godspell and then in the national tour of Leader of the Pack. Bean was also seen in the all-star Hair benefit concert. The singer-actress is currently working on her debut solo album for Pure Records.

The Metropolitan Room is located in Manhattan at 34 West 22nd Street. There is a $20 cover charge plus minimum; call (212) 206-0440 for reservations.
