Show-only tickets, set at $50 apiece, are now available for the Oct. 30 90th birthday benefit for legendary producer Cy Feuer. "Celebrate Cy" will be held at Pier 60-Chelsea Piers in Manhattan.
The event is being co-presented by the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation, the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers and The League of American Theatre and Producers. The evening will benefit SDCF. Entertainment, as yet unrevealed, will be directed and choreographed by Karen Azenberg and written by Douglas Bernstein and Denis Markell. Stars are to be announced.
The event will begin at 6 PM with cocktails and a 7 PM dinner to follow. A star-studded performance completes the evening. The above-mentioned $50 tickets will bring purchasers into the latter attraction only. The price also includes a sparkling wine toast.
Charing the gala are Jed Bernstein, James Burrows, John Kander and Fred Ebb, Rocco Landesman, Jo Sullivan Loesser, James M. Nederlander, Ted Pappas, Hal Prince, Ann Reinking and Gerald Schoenfeld. Vice-chair is the Rodgers and Hammerstein Organzation.
Feuer was the producer behind such Frank Loesser shows as Guys and Dolls, Where's Charley? and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Other credits include Can-Can and Little Me. For information, call (212) 302-5359.
