To celebrate, Memphis will host a BBQ open to the public at Broadway’s Shubert Alley May 24 from 12 PM – 2 PM. Guests who attend the BBQ will be asked to make a small donation to the Children’s Miracle Network. Besides pitching in for a great cause, the public will also be able to enjoy a special performance from the current Memphis cast and a BBQ lunch provided by A&P. Everyone in attendance can also enter to win one pair of tickets to see the hit Broadway musical at the Shubert Theatre.

You can continue your support after the BBQ has ended. Beginning July 4, customers at all A&P, Pathmark, Food Emporium, Waldbaum’s, Food Basics, Super Fresh and Best Cellars stores will be asked to make a donation to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at the register. Those who donate will also receive a special discount offer for tickets to Memphis on Broadway. The promotion will run through the end of July in more than 360 stores along the eastern seaboard.
