News Shrek's Brian d'Arcy James to Donate Memorabilia to Planet Hollywood Shrek star Brian d'Arcy James will have his handprints captured in cement at the Planet Hollywood in Times Square on March 2.

James, who is currently starring as the titular green ogre in the Dreamworks musical on Broadway, will have a mold of his handprints made for display at Planet Hollywood. He will also donate memorabilia from the New York production of Shrek for display at Planet Hollywood.

As part of the 6:30 PM event, the 100th person to enter Planet Hollywood will win free tickets to see James in Shrek at the Broadway Theatre. Dinner at Planet Hollywood in Times Square is also included in the package.

Featuring a score by Tony nominee Jeanine Tesori (Violet, Caroline, or Change), with book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize winner David Lindsay-Abaire, Shrek began performances on Broadway Nov. 8, 2008.

Shrek also stars Tony winner Sutton Foster as Princess Fiona, Tony nominee Daniel Breaker as Donkey, Tony nominee John Tartaglia as Pinocchio and Christopher Sieber as Lord Farquaad. Shrek is directed by Jason Moore.

Brian d'Arcy James earned a Tony nomination for his work in Sweet Smell of Success. On Broadway, he has appeared in The Apple Tree, Titanic, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Carousel and Blood Brothers.
