Emily Skinner will detach herself from Side Show and "Duets" CD co-star Alice Ripley long enough to team up with Billy Porter in an upstate NY production of Jesus Christ Superstar. The Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice musical plays at the Helen Hayes Performing Arts Center in Nyack, Dec. 11-Jan. 3, 1999. Skinner received acclaim last year for her Tony-nominated performance as one half of the Siamese Twins in Side Show. Skinner & Ripley's album, "Duets" was released by Varese Sarabande Oct. 27. Skinner has also appeared on in Jekyll and Hyde, and A Christmas Carol at Madison Square Garden.
Porter has appeared on Broadway in Grease, Miss Saigon, Five Guys Named Moe, and Smokey Joe's Cafe.
