Alice Ripley and Emily Skinner may be stuck with each other for life. The Side Show Siamese twins, who share a single Tony nomination this season, are now planning an album of Broadway duets, as first reported by InTheatre.

The idea was Ripley's. Varese Sarabande producer Bruce Kimmel told Playbill On-Line that Ripley came to him suggesting a duet disc. Kimmel further focused the project by recommending an album of famous Broadway duets for women. Both Ripley and Skinner liked the notion. Kimmel mentioned the musicals Guys and Dolls, Chess and Chicago as possible sources of material. A number from Side Show would, of course, be included, he said.

The two singers will go into the studio in July and the album will be released sometime in early fall.
