News Signature Theatre Company Receives $25 Million Donation The Signature Theatre Company has received a donation of $25 million from The Pershing Square Foundation; in honor of the donation, Signature’s new home will be named The Pershing Square Signature Center.

The donation was given to the company’s new Frank Gehry-designed home in Manhattan and will also help fund the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access, a program that guarantees affordable and accessible tickets to every Signature production for the next 20 years. Tickets to all productions of Signature’s inaugural season at The Pershing Square Signature Center are $25. As previously announced, the Signature Center Opening Gala Celebration will be held Jan. 30 at the company’s new home. The event will honor actor Edward Norton.

The gift from The Pershing Square Foundation to support the Signature Ticket Initiative is in keeping with The Pershing Square Foundation’s support for creative programs in arts and culture. Launched in 2005, the Signature Ticket Initiative was created to make theatre accessible to all.
