The latest video features original cast member and Tony Award-winning director Joe Mantello, who discusses rehearsing the show and only later realizing its impact. The play deals with the AIDS crisis, homosexuality, religion and politics, among other themes, in bold and epic strokes that were considered revolutionary upon its premiere in 1993 and still continue to resonate.
