News "Signed Sealed Delivered": de Haas Sings Stevie Wonder at American Songbook Jan. 23 Darius de Haas, who recently took part in the all-star Children of Eden benefit concert, will salute the works of Stevie Wonder during his American Songbook evening at Lincoln Center.

The young actor will perform Wonder: The Songs of Stevie Wonder Friday, Jan. 23 at 8 and 11 PM. De Haas told Playbill On-Line, "I'm so excited to do this show, as Stevie Wonder is a singer and composer I hold very close to my heart." Cabaretgoers can expect to hear de Haas wrap his soaring tenor around such Wonder tunes as "Ribbon in the Sky," "Signed Sealed Delivered," "All In Love Is Fair," "Summer Soft" and "As If You Read My Mind." Gerry Geddes directs. Richard Cummings, who will be featured on piano, is the evening's musical director. The accompaniment will also include George Farmer (bass), JT Lewis (drums) and Kenny Brescia (guitar) with additional vocals from Aisha de Haas and Ronnell Bey.

Darius de Haas has appeared on Broadway in Marie Christine, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Carousel, Rent and The Gershwins' Fascinating Rhythm. He created the title role in Running Man for which he received an Obie Award, and his other theatrical credits include The Bacchae, Saturn Returns, Children of Eden, Once On This Island and I Was Looking at the Ceiling and Then I Saw the Sky.

Tickets are priced at $45 (8 PM) and $30 (11 PM), and the concerts will be held in the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse, which is located at 165 West 65th Street, between Broadway and Amsterdam, on the 10th floor of the Rose Building.
