In June, producer Jeffrey Richards announced plans to bring Joshua Harmon’s play about a gay bachelor looking for love to Broadway in February 2017 at a Shubert theatre-to-be-announced. A hit Off-Broadway at Roundabout Theatre Company, the play will transfer with its entire original cast and creative team.
Glick, the show’s central character, tweeted a photo of the show’s cast standing under the awning of the Booth Theatre. The tweet read: “Guess what? Significant Other is heading to The Booth! Previews starting February 16th.”

Richards’ office did not respond to requests for comment.
Significant Other is a coming-of-age story about single life in the city. “Jordan Berman would love to be in love, but that's easier said than done. So until he meets Mr. Right, he wards off lonely nights with his trio of close-knit girlfriends. But as singles' nights turn into bachelorette parties, Jordan finds that supporting the ones you love can be just as impossible as finding love itself.”
