The Vandal, according to press notes, is "set on a frozen night in Kingston, New York, where a woman (Weaver) who's lost everything tags her name on Death's door."
Linklater, currently starring in Broadway’s Seminar, said in a previous statement that “the play is about how we live and the stories we tell ourselves when we’re haunted by the people we’ve loved and lost.”
All proceeds from this event go to The Flea Theater, now entering its 17th year.
Tickets are $275 and include a light dinner with the cast. To RSVP to the 2012 Benefit Reading, call (212) 226-0051, ext. 102 or email SarahW@TheFlea.org.
