The 5 PM event, with musical direction by Brian J. Nash, features selections from the musical parody of the classic film "The Silence of the Lambs." Cast members will also be on hand to autograph copies of the CD.

Barnes & Noble is located at 150 E. 86th Street (between Lexington and Third Avenue).

In related news, the PBS talk show "Theater Talk" will welcome Silence! book writer Hunter Bell as well as David Garrison and Jenn Harris this weekend. Along with hosts Michael Riedel and Susan Haskins, the artists will discuss the process of turning the classic movie into a musical parody. This episode will premiere on WNET/Thirteen Feb. 24 at 1:30 AM and repeat on CUNY TV Feb. 25 at 8:30 PM, Feb. 26 at 12:30 PM and Feb. 27 at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM.

Silence! The Musical, with book by Hunter Bell, music and lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, and direction and choreography by Christopher Gattelli, is currently playing The 9th Space Theatre at Performance Space 122, 150 First Avenue.

The original cast recording, produced by Michael Croiter and Rich Affannato, is now available on the Sh-K- Boom/Ghostlight Records label.

The current cast is headed by David Garrison (Hannibal Lecter), Jenn Harris (Clarice Starling) and Stephen Bienskie (Buffalo Bill), and features Callan Bergmann, Harry Bouvy, Ashlee Dupré, Annie Funke, Deidre Goodwin, Howard Kaye, Topher Nuccio, Pamela Bob and Doug Trapp. Music supervisor is Mark Hartman.
