It will begin performances Sept. 10 at the Lowry in Salford Quays, and will continue to tour through Nov. 4, including London dates at Richmond Theatre in Southwest London Sept. 21 and the West End's Lyric Theatre Oct. 6. Originally seen at Belfast’s Lyric Theatre, where it was nominated for Best New Play in The Irish Times Theatre Awards 2013, it is directed by Joseph Alford. The producers are Ros Povey, Zoë Simpson and Seabright Productions.

The show includes the biblical stories of Lazarus, the wedding at Cana and the journey to Jerusalem. According to press materials, this portrayal of the tyrants, traitors and madmen in Jesus’ life asks people of all faiths and none: What sort of a man was able to inspire the history of the world?
