News Single Tickets for New York Musical Theatre Festival On Sale Sept. 1 Single tickets for the 2011 New York Musical Theatre Festival, including such works as Madame X, Time Between Us, Ghostlight, Greenwood and a concert of the never-seen Broadway musical Gatsby, go on sale Sept. 1.

Running Sept. 26-Oct. 16, NYMF offers an array of over 30 new musicals in fully staged productions, readings and concert form. Numerous panels and ancillary events also round out the three-week programming for the eighth annual event.

A host of Broadway performers are already announced to take part in this year's festival including Andrea McArdle (Greenwood), Daisy Eagan (Ghostlight), Stephen Buntrock (The Brain That Wouldn't Die), Donna Lynne Champlin (Pride and Prejudice), Carly Rose Sonenclar (The Big Bank) and Brandon Wardell (Fucking Hipsters!).

NYMF also revealed that Tony Award-winning Book of Mormon and Avenue Q co-author Robert Lopez has been named the honorary chair of the 2011 festival.
