"Smash" was the recipient of the Outstanding Drama Series Award, while "How to Survive a Plague" was named Outstanding Documentary and "The Amazing Race" was named the Outstanding Reality Program.
Hunter's The Whale was the winner of the GLAAD Award for Outstanding New York Theatre (Broadway and Off-Broadway) and Michael Perlman's From White Plains received the Outstanding New York Theatre Award for (Off-Off-Broadway). Playwrights Horizons produced The Whale Off-Broadway in 2012.
