The actress added in a statement to Playbill.com, "We were so excited to be married that we skipped the engagement altogether!"
Gallagher, who was seen in the recent Broadway revival of Jekyll & Hyde, added on his Twitter account, "I got married AND the Jets won! It's been a perfect weekend!!!"
