He replaces David Bedella, who is currently playing the role, and precedes Robin Cousins, who takes over July 17.
Jaffrey can currently be seen on TV's "Smash"; other TV roles include Zaf Younis in "Spooks" and Hari Dhillon in "Mistresses." His films include "Sex and the City 2," "Harry Brown" and "Eastern Promises." He has previously appeared in the West End as Sky in Mamma Mia! and as Akaash in the original production of Bombay Dreams.
