News "Smash" Stars Will Make Debuts with Philadelphia Orchestra Three-time Tony winner Bernadette Peters and Wicked's Megan Hilty, who played mother and daughter on the NBC musical series "Smash," will make their debut performances with The Philadelphia Orchestra at Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) in separate performances next month.

Peters, who can be seen on the acclaimed new Amazon series "Mozart in the Jungle," will perform with the orchestra 8 PM Aug. 5. The performance will mark the opening night of the orchestra’s annual summer residency at SPAC. Peters’ performance will include favorites from the roles she originated on Broadway, and more.

Hilty will make her first-ever appearance with The Philadelphia Orchestra 8 PM Aug. 13. Led by New York Pops conductor Steven Reineke, the program, themed Luck Be a Lady, will include selections from Hilty’s onstage and on-screen roles.
