News Smokey Joe's Cafe Star Heads to the Ars Nova Feb. 27 and March 5 Kim Cea, who co-starred in the Broadway production and the first national tour of Smokey Joe's Cafe, will bring her mix of song and comedy to the Ars Nova Theater for two nights only.

On Feb. 27 and March 5 Cea, who is also a 2003 Mac Award winner for Best Female Standup Comedy, will take to the stage of the intimate theatre. She will be joined onstage by musical director/pianist Tracy Stark, Wilbur Bascomb on bass, Clancy on drums and Tom Rocco with additional vocals. Show time for both nights is 8 PM. In addition to Smokey Joe's Cafe, Kim Cea appeared in the national tour of Fame: The Musical. Off-Broadway she has been seen in Starmites, Fame Takes a Holiday, Finkel's Follies and CBS Live. Her screen credits include "The Guru," "Dominic and Eugene," "Gung Ho," "Lady Beware," "Law & Order" and "The News in Revue" (Emmy nomination). Cea was also recently the winner of the "Ladies of Laughter" contest at Madison Square Garden.

Part of the Jewcy series, Kim Cea Live will play the Ars Nova Theater, 511 West 54th Street. Tickets are $15 and are available by calling (212) 868-4444 or by visiting www.smarttix.com. Doors open at 7:30 PM.
