Whether she was singing about a city or profound grief, every piece of her was involved and intimate. She changed my life."
Billings continued, "She brought me up when I felt there was no other voice leading me, holding me or paving a way for me. She has been my friend, my guide and a spiritual light that has sometimes, saved my existence and kept me present. Happy Birthday, Judy."

The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization shared a clip of Judy Garland singing "You'll Never Walk Alone" from Carousel. The account wrote, "100 years of Judy Garland. Today we celebrate the iconic performer's milestone birthday! While Judy was originally slated to star as Julie Jordan in the 1956 film @CarouselMusical, she dropped out before filming began—but graced us with this beautiful cover of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' nearly 6 years later."
RuPaul's Drag Race threw it back to Jinkx Monsoon's celebrated and Snatch Game–winning impersonation of the late star.
He continued, "Unlike my previous Rufus Does Judy performance, this album gave me a chance to delve into the Judy-ness of each song, even performing them with her microphone in a studio she spent much time in. Discovering the interior intimacy of each composition was something both exciting and unique to a studio."
