Off-Broadway's SoHo Playhouse has announced the lineup of shows for its fall/winter 2023 season. The not-for-profit theatre company highlights works by both local and international artists.

From September 5–October 8, Peter Friedman and Sydney Lemmon will star in Max Wolf Friedlich's Job. Directed by Michael Herwitz, the play follows former tech employee Jane— who has just been fired after a video featuring her goes viral—and her crisis therapist Loyd.

Running concurrently with Job, comedian Caitlin Cook will bring her Edinburgh Fringe Festival hit The Writing on the Stall to SoHo Playhouse's Huron Club September 6–23. The one-woman confessional set in a dive bar bathroom can be described as a "grafitti musical," as Cook performs the lyrics sprawled on the walls.

SoHo Playhouse's International Fringe Encore Series will return for its 17th year, running November 2–19. The series showcases exceptional emerging talent from the past year's global Fringe Festivals, offering hit Fringe productions an encore run in New York City. Productions will be announced at a later date.

Magic will take over SoHo Playhouse November 4–December 30 when Mario the Maker Magician will present his unique mix of magic tricks and science. The first generation Italian-American known for his "robot magic" will infuse DIY electronics and robotics into his magic tricks to entertain children and families of all ages. Mario is currently finishing up a run at the Edinburgh Fringe.

To close out the holiday season, The Shark Is Broken director Guy Masterson will star in Charles DickensA Christmas Carol, adapted and directed by Nick Hennegan. Dickens' myriad of personalities will all be portrayed by Masterson. The holiday classic will run December 20–31.
