News Soho Rep Holds Reading of Anne Washburn's Apparition, May 15 Soho Rep will present a reading of Anne Washburn's Apparition, the latest new play to come out of the theatre's 2000-01 Writer/Director lab. Linsay Firman, the co-director of the lab, will direct. This marks Washburn's second straight year as a lab playwright.

Soho Rep will present a reading of Anne Washburn's Apparition, the latest new play to come out of the theatre's 2000-01 Writer/Director lab. Linsay Firman, the co-director of the lab, will direct. This marks Washburn's second straight year as a lab playwright.

The series of events began on May 6 with a reading of Suitcase, written by Melissa James Gibson. Soho Rep recently announced that Suitcase will be fully produced by the company this fall.

The remaining schedule goes as follows:

May 20: Blank Dragon Sky by Madelyn Kent, directed by Laramie Dennis
May 27: The Mercy Seat by Colin Hodges, directed by Anne Kaufman
Date TBA: The Vomit Talk of Ghosts by Kevin Oakes, directed by Keith Geller
