News Soho Storeys Presented in Limited Run at London's Pleasance Theatre If you want to go to the theatre but want a break from Christmas shows and can't face the West End crowds, then try the Pleasance Theatre, near Caledonian Road, where the Young Pleasance presents Soho Storeys, which opened on Dec. 20 and runs through Dec. 31.

This company of young actors, from 15 to 22, presents an evening of interlocking stories set in several storeys of a Soho house in the early 1950's. In the basement is a jazz club, on the ground floor an Italian espresso bar; next door is a French patisserie, upstairs is a Greek barber, further up some Russian tailors and in the attic flat a family of Jamaicans.

This multi-cultural tale of love, violence and humor has a cast of 30, an authentic jazz score underlying the action, stylish dance routines, an upbeat and entertaining feel to it.
