News Sold-Out Port Authority Gets Two Added Performances Two performances have been added to the sold-out run of Atlantic Theater Company's critically acclaimed production of Conor McPherson's Port Authority.

The added shows are 7 PM June 8 and 7 PM June 22.

Henry Wishcamper directs Tony Award nominee Brian d'Arcy James (Sweet Smell of Success), Tony Award winner John Gallagher, Jr. (Spring Awakening) and Tony Award nominee Jim Norton (The Seafarer).

The limited Off-Broadway engagement was extended through June 22 before previews even began. Previews began April 30 toward a May 21 opening at Atlantic Theater Company's home at the Linda Gross Theater, 336 West 20th Street.

"Set against the backdrop of contemporary Dublin, Port Authority weaves the stories of three generations of Irishmen as they experience loss, failure and the elusiveness of love as Conor McPherson (The Seafarer, Shining City, The Weir) exposes the heart of the common man with his customary wit and compassion."

Olivier Award-winning and Tony Award-nominated playwright McPherson's Dublin Carol and The Lieutenant of Inishmore got their American premieres by Atlantic Theater Company. His acclaimed West End transfer of The Seafarer recently concluded a hit run on Broadway and has been nominated for a Tony Award for Best Play.
