LOS ANGELES -- Solo theatre artists Dan Kwong, Danielle Brazell and Sam Donlavy will all be seen at Highways Performance Space in June.

The critically-acclaimed Kwong will appear June 17-July 3rd in his new show, The Night the Moon Landed on 39th Street -- And Other Tales of Wonder.

"Kwong travels through time from The Dawn of Dan -- kind to the birth of the Space Age to the Future of Life As We Know It, using a formidable multimedia array of video, slide projection, music, funky costumes and far-out props," said a company spokesperson. "He's on his way to becoming the first performance artist in space."

Brazell's show is titled The Onion Peeled and will be performed Sunday, June 6, featuring members of her company. The show, she said, "promises to rip the boundaries of the 'acceptable' into innovative forms of telling the truth, shredding the lies and reconstructing the modern mythology."

Donlavy will be seen June 3-5 in a reprise of his sold-out How Sammy Got His Groove Back, which deals with the displacement of a struggling young artist. Highways Performing Space is located at 1651 18th St. in Santa Monica. Call (310) 315-1459.
