News Some Tix Available for Betty Buckley's NYC Evening of Signature Songs Tony Award winner Betty Buckley, who recently scored rave reviews for her performance in the current Off-Broadway production of Horton Foote's The Old Friends, will offer an evening of song to benefit New York's Signature Theatre Sept. 30.

Entitled Betty Buckley: Signature Songs, the fundraiser will be held in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center to support the Legacy Program in honor of Horton Foote. Michael Wilson, who directed Old Friends, also directs the concert, which is subtitled An Evening of Music.

Attendees can expect to hear an eclectic mix of musical theatre favorites, including "As If We Never Said Goodbye," "Memory," "Corner of the Sky" and a "Sweeney Todd Suite" as well as "Over You" from the award-winning film "Tender Mercies."

The evening will begin with cocktails at 6:30 PM followed by the 7:30 PM concert.

The Old Friends, which co-stars Hallie Foote and Lois Smith, was recently extended through Oct. 20. The Pershing Square Signature Center is located at 480 West 42nd Street.

Betty Buckley offered acclaimed performances in Broadway's Sunset Boulevard, Carrie, Song & Dance, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, 1776, Triumph of Love and Promises, Promises. She won a Tony Award for her performance as Grizabella in the Broadway production of Cats, and she starred on the London stage in Promises, Promises, Dear World and Sunset Boulevard, earning an Olivier Award nomination for her work in the latter. Her screen credits are numerous.
