A mix of American Songbook standards and original tunes, "Blues in the Night" — which features drummer Sherrie Maricle and the Diva Jazz Orchestra — is set to hit stores nationwide Aug. 22. The recording's 12 tracks will also be available on iTunes, which will offer the ballad "You Are You" as an internet exclusive. About her newest CD, Callaway said in a statement, "This is the feistiest, gutsiest, most let-your-hair-down CD I've ever recorded. There are quiet and reflective moments and you will also hear me wail. The album expresses the full range of who I am and, of all my recordings, it comes closest to the feel of a live concert."

Liz Callaway, the Broadway favorite seen in the original New York casts of Baby, Merrily We Roll Along and Miss Saigon, joins her sister for a medley of two classic torch songs: "Stormy Weather" and "When the Sun Comes Out."

The complete track listing for "Blues in the Night" follows:
"Swingin' Away the Blues"
"Blue Moon"
"Spring Can Really Hang You Up the Most"
"Lover Come Back to Me"
"Stormy Weather"/"When the Sun Comes Out"
"The I'm-Too-White-To-Sing-the-Blues Blues"
"Willow Weep for Me"
"Hip to Be Happy"
"It's All Right with Me"
"No One Is Alone"
"Blues in the Night"
"The Glory of Love"

Not only a singer, Ann Hampton Callaway is also an acclaimed songwriter, whose works have been performed by Barbra Streisand, Patti LuPone and dozens of others. For her Broadway debut in Swing!, Callaway garnered a Tony nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, and her many recordings include "Ann Hampton Callaway," "Bring Back Romance," "To Ella with Love" and "After Ours." Callaway is also a recipient of 14 Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) Awards.
