News Songs of Lance Horne Will Be Sung by Cumming, Waddingham and Other West End Stars New York based composer Lance Horne is to have his work showcased in a late night performance at the West End's Vaudeville Theatre, launching a new late-night strand of the West End show series Notes from New York.

Presented as Notes Unleashed! The Music of Lance Horne, the performance will be 11 PM Sept. 3, following Alan Cumming's solo show I Bought a Blue Car Today, which runs Sept. 1-6. Horne is the accompanist for the Cumming show.

The Horne evening will feature Cumming, joined by West End stars including Julie Atherton (Avenue Q), Aneurin Barnard (Spring Awakening), Simon Burke (La Cage Aux Folles), Alexandra Silber (Carousel), Hannah Waddingham (West End and Broadway Spamalot) and Emma Williams (Desperately Seeking Susan, Zorro!).

Horne has previously appeared with Cumming in I Bought a Blue Car Today at New York's Lincoln Center and Sydney Opera House, and in the West End in La Clique with Meow Meow. He has also appeared internationally with Justin Bond, and with Broadway's Cheyenne Jackson at the GLAAD Awards in Los Angeles. He received a 2008 Emmy Award for Best Original Song for "Chemistry" ("One Life to Live: Prom Night, The Musical," ABC), provided the vocal arrangements for Broadway's Little Women, and contributes opening numbers regularly for The Actors' Fund and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (Gypsy of the Year 2004-06). His compositions for TV include Lincoln Center Tree Lighting with Sesame Street; 80th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (Diana DeGarmo & The Phoenix Boys Choir). He received the Jonathan Larson Award for composer-lyricists, and has undertaken residencies at O'Neill, NYMF, TheaterWorks (Palo Alto), Orchard Project and New Harmony Project. His band Lance Horne & The One Night Stands' appearances include Blue Moon Seoul, Joe's Pub and House of Blues on Sunset.

Notes Unleashed! The Music of Lance Horne will now mark the London premiere of songs written by him, and will feature the composer himself at the piano. The event is produced by Neil Eckersley and Speculation Entertainment in association with Notes from New York.
