News Sony Pictures Acquires International Rights for "Space Station 76," Starring Patrick Wilson and Matt Bomer Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions has acquired all international rights for "Space Station 76," the film starring Patrick Wilson, Matt Bomer and Liv Tyler, among others, according to Deadline.com.

The film, from writer-director Jack Plotnick — and written by Plotnick, Jennifer Cox, Sam Pancake, Kali Rocha and Michael Stoyanov — also stars Marisa Coughlan, Kylie Rogers, Kali Rocha, Jerry O'Connell and Keir Dullea.

"Space Station 76" is described as "a character-driven, domestic dramedy, which takes place in a 1970s-version of the future, where personalities and asteroids collide."

The film was produced by Edward Parks, Rachel Ward, Dan Burks, Joel Michaely and Katherine Ann McGregor. Niraj Bhatia and Frank Mele serve as executive producers. U.S. rights are being handled by Kevin Iwashina and Zac Bright of Preferred Content.
