The original Broadway cast recording of Swing! has been recorded and will be released Jan. 25 by Sony Classical Records.

Featured on the SONY album are Swing! vocalists Ann Hampton Callaway, Everett Bradley and Laura Benanti, with Casey MacGill. In addition to many original songs, several of which are written by Callaway, Bradley and MacGill, the cast album includes classic tunes such as "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy," "Harlem Nocturne," "It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)," "Jumpin' at the Woodside," "Sing, Sing, Sing!," "Stompin' at the Savoy" and "Blues in the Night."

Production sources indicate that the original cast recording of Swing! will be featured on Sony Classical's website at www.sonyclassical.com. At this online resource for the label's entire catalogue of recordings, sound clips, track listings, cover art and further information about the cast album will be available.

Swing! has been building momentum since it opened Dec. 9 at the St. James Theatre, 246 West 44th Street. Directed and choreographed by Lynne Taylor-Corbett and supervised by four-time Tony Award-winner Jerry Zaks, Swing! is an all-singing, all-dancing musical celebration. The production includes over 30 dance numbers comprising neo-swing dances, West Coast, Country Western, Latin and Traditional Swing dancing.
