News South Pacific to Offer Special Actors Fund Performance in September The Tony Award-winning revival of South Pacific will offer a special performance in September to benefit the Actors Fund of America.

The Sept. 21 performance of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical now playing Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theater will benefit the non-profit organization. Show time is 8 PM.

Tickets, priced $75-$125 (with VIP seats priced $200-$350), are available by calling (212) 221-7300, ext. 133.

Directed by Tony winner Barlett Sher, South Pacific co-stars Kelli O'Hara and Tony winner Paulo Szot. The musical plays the Beaumont, located in Manhattan at 150 West 65th Street.

The Actors Fund, which was founded in 1882, is a non-profit organization that provides for the social welfare of all entertainment professionals. Some of the many programs The Actors Fund provides include a nursing home and assisted living care facility; senior and disabled programs; mental health services; chemical dependency services; entertainment industry assistance programs; the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative; the AIDS Initiative; and supportive housing on both coasts.
