The Broadway revival of Monty Python's Spamalot plays its final performance April 7. The production, which opened November 16, 2023, will have played 17 previews and 164 regular performances at the time of closing.

Playing the St. James Theatre, Spamalot began performances October 31, 2023, transferring to Broadway after a previous run at the Kennedy Center. A national tour of the production is set to launch in fall 2025.

The production currently stars Tony winner James Monroe Iglehart (Aladdin, Hamilton) as King Arthur, Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer (Beetlejuice) as The Lady of the Lake, Tony nominee Christopher Fitzgerald (Waitress) as Patsy, Tony nominee Ethan Slater (SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical) as The Historian/Prince Herbert, Alex Brightman (Beetlejuice) as Lancelot, Jimmy Smagula (Billy Elliot) as Sir Bedevere, Jonathan Bennett as Sir Robin, and Nik Walker (Hamilton) as Sir Galahad.

They are supported by Daniel Beeman, Maria Briggs, Gabriella Enriquez, Michael Fatica, Denis Lambert, Shina Ann Morris, Kaylee Olson, Kristin Piro, Drew Redington, Tyler Roberts, Matt Bauman, Anju Cloud, Darrell T. Joe, Lily Kaufmann, and Charlie Sutton.

Based on the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the musical follows King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table on their quest for the Holy Grail, complete with coconut-shell horse hooves, a run-in with the Knights Who Say "Ni!," and more.

The musical, which took home the Tony Award for Best Musical in 2005, features a book by Eric Idle and a score by Idle and John Du Prez. Josh Rhodes directed and choreographed the revival after staging the production's premiere at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., earlier in 2023.

The production features scenic and projection design by Paul Tate dePoo III, costume design by Jen Caprio, lighting design by Cory Pattak, sound design by Kai Harada and Haley Parcher, wig design by Tom Watson, and music direction by John Bell. Casting is by JZ Casting. Matthew Lacey serves as the production stage manager, and RCI Theatricals serves as general manager.
