News Spelling Bee's Rocca to Host 80's Concert; Daniels, Diaz, Fleming and Shindle Join Company Mo Rocca, who plays Vice Principal Douglas Panch in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, will host Broadway Loves the 80's, an upcoming benefit concert at Joe's Pub.

The June 13 concert at the intimate cabaret will feature direction by Jamie McGonnigal and music direction by Ben Cohn. Those singing the songs of the 80's will include Aaron Albano, Stanley Bahorek, Kevin Cahoon, Jennifer Colella, Nikki Renee Daniels, Natascia Diaz, Adam Fleming, Jared Gertner, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Kate Shindle, Marty Thomas and The Broadway Boys: Jesse Nager, Telly Leung, Tyler Maynard, Peter Matthew Smith, Daniel Calvert and Michael James Scott. Ellen Foley, who was Meatloaf's partner on his 80's hit "Paradise by the Dashboard Light," will also perform. Show time is 11:30 PM. Proceeds from the event will benefit the United Nations Association HERO Campaign, "an awareness-building and fundraising initiative dedicated to helping support children living in HIV/AIDS-affected communities in sub-Saharan Africa."
