My two-show days look very different now that I have a baby. Here’s how it all begins: coffee, literature, and Beckett.

Beckett plays the harmonica while Adam plays the flute. They love to help me warm up before I leave for the matinee!

Here I am at the Actor’s Temple! It’s unbelievably cool to be performing in a working synagogue.

Aaron Galligan-Stierle (who plays my brother Nathan) is the first to arrive and he dives into his goal for the day: watching every Marvel movie before Avengers comes out in theaters! (Did you know there are 17 of them?)

I’m stalking Jim Stanek. We did Little Women together and I’m so happy to be reunited with him. Jim plays my father, even though he’s definitely not old enough for that! Goldstein tells of three generations of one family, and we play our characters at many different ages throughout the show.

Our three Goldstein gentlemen: Aaron, Jim, and Zal Owen. I’ve posed them awkwardly with props.

And these are our three Goldstein women: Sara Beth Pfeifer, Julie Benko, and Amie Bermowitz. They respectively play my sister-in-law, my niece, and my mother.

It’s time to get ready! I’ll put my sweet “B” necklace away and pretend for 83 minutes that I am no longer a momma, but Sherri Goldstein!

Show is over; it’s a quick one with no intermission. Time to grab some dinner. I’m over this windy, cold winter.
