News Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark Will Offer Halloween Ticket Giveaway for Costumed Theatregoers In celebration of Halloween, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark will give away tickets to the high-flying Broadway musical from Oct. 26-30.

At all performances Oct. 26-Oct. 30, the first 50 theatregoers to appear in a costume dressed as a character from Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark will receive a one-time complimentary pair of tickets.

Audience members must be lined up in costume on the 42nd Street in front of the Foxwoods Theatre two hours before the scheduled curtain time of the performance they wish to attend — any participants arriving after this time will not be eligible for the giveaway. In addition, one costumed audience member at each performance will win a special VIP package and photo op.

Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark features music and lyrics by Bono and The Edge, direction by Philip William McKinley and a book co-written by Julie Taymor, Glen Berger and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.

In Spider-Man, according to producers, "Peter Parker's ordinary teenage life takes a turn for the extraordinary when he's bitten by a genetically altered spider and suddenly finds himself endowed with incredible superpowers. Parker quickly learns that with great power comes great responsibility as he tries to juggle the demands of high school and home life, while battling the Green Goblin and his band of super villains as they try to take down New York City and destroy everything Peter holds dear – including the beautiful girl-next-door, Mary Jane Watson."

The musical plays Monday-Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30 PM, Friday-Saturday at 8 PM, Saturday at 2 PM and Sunday at 1 PM and 7 PM. Visit SpiderManOnBroadway.Marvel.com.
