News Spider-Man's Reeve Carney, Jennifer Damiano, Patrick Page Rehearse by Day, Perform at Night Theatregoers who attend the new musical Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark during the next two weeks can expect to see the performances of the show's three leads: Reeve Carney (Peter Parker), Jennifer Damiano (Mary Jane) and Patrick Page (Green Goblin).

Although a March 30 Showbiz411.com report said that the leads were not performing because they are busy rehearsing the many changes that will soon be implemented into the production, a spokesperson for the musical said that report is untrue.

Rick Miramontez told Playbill.com, "Reeve, Jennifer and Patrick are not scheduled to miss performances. They will be rehearsing the new version of the show by day, and performing the current version by night."

As previously reported, Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark will be on hiatus April 19-May 11. The upcoming canceled performances will allow "the time necessary to execute" a new creative "plan," which includes revisions to the script, overseen by newcomers to the creative team, including playwright Roberto Aguirre Sacasa (a Marvel comics writer and an acclaimed dramatist), director Philip William McKinley (The Boy From Oz) and choreographer Chase Brock. New songs by Bono and The Edge will also be added.

Opening night remains June 14.

Tickets are currently on sale through Oct. 2. Visit SpiderManOnBroadway.com.
