News Spider-Man's Robert Cuccioli Plays 54 Below Feb. 6 Robert Cuccioli, who recently returned to Broadway in Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, makes his debut at the Manhattan nightspot 54 Below Feb. 6.

The acclaimed singing actor's show begins at 9:30 PM. The evening, which is entitled A Standard Love, features musical direction by Barry Levitt with Jon Burr on bass and Alvester Garnett on drums.

The show, according to press notes, reflects Cuccioli's "love of music from ballad to swing. [The Tony nominee] will take audiences on a musical journey of loving and losing and loving again, through musical standards from the 30's and 40's lending his rich voice to some of the most endearing American standards ever written."

Song selections include "The Look of Love," "I’ve Got You Under My Skin," "How Do You Keep the Music Playing," "Zing Went the Strings of  My Heart," "Witchcraft," "For All We Know," "A Fine Romance" and "I Wanna Be Around" as well as Jekyll & Hyde's "This Is the Moment."

Cuccioli, who received a Tony nomination as well as Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards for his performance in Jekyll & Hyde, made his Broadway debut as Inspector Javert in Les Miserables. His Off-Broadway credits include Temporary Help, Enter The Guardsman, And The World Goes 'Round (1991 Outer Critics Circle Award), Gigi, The Rothschilds, Jacques Brel Is Alive And Well And Living In Paris and Dietrich & Chevalier.
