SpongeBob SquarePants Tony Award nominee Ethan Slater has released his first single, “Richmond Rewrites,” written for his new film musical in development, Write Me In.

The single is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and other major streaming platforms.

In notes for the single’s release, Slater describes “Richmond Rewrites” as being “about one man's night in Virginia, and the way it changed his outlook on life.”

Slater was Tony-nominated last season for creating the title role in SpongeBob SquarePants. He is also announced to appear as Mordrid in Lincoln Center Theater's upcoming benefit presentation of Camelot on March 4.
