The evening will be followed by a talkback with cast members hosted by Leslie Kantor, PhD, MPH, Vice President of Education at Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

Those interested in attending should use the code "TEEN" when purchasing online through Ticketmaster.com or in person at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre Box Office. This offer is valid for an adult and a teen between the ages of 13-19, inclusive. All tickets must be picked up at the box office; upon pickup, a voucher will be provided for the post-show event.

The musical's producers said in a statement, "The last performance of Spring Awakening’s limited run is on Jan. 24, and so we aren't able to participate in Kids Night on Broadway [Feb. 9]. Because the show deals with sexuality, adult themes, and the communication between teens and adults, we think it is important that as many young people and their parents as possible see the show, so we're having our own Teen Night on Broadway. And in addition to the reduced price for teens and their parents, we're offering a post-show conversation that we hope will help inspire more family communication about growing up in 2016."

This production of Spring Awakening, which originated at the Deaf West Theatre, is performed simultaneously in American Sign Language and spoken and sung in English.

Based on Frank Wedekind’s controversial 1891 expressionist play of the same name, Spring Awakening, according to press notes, "follows the lives of a group of adolescents as they navigate their journey from adolescence to adulthood in a fusion of morality, sexuality and rock & roll." Michael Arden directs with choreography by Spencer Liff.

The cast comprises Robert Ariza, Miles Barbee, Katie Boeck, Alex Boniello, Joshua Castille, Lizzy Cuesta, Daniel N. Durant, Treshelle Edmond, Sandra Mae Frank, Kathryn Gallagher, Sean Grandillo, Elizabeth Greene, Russell Harvard, Amelia Hensley, Van Hughes, Lauren Luiz, Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Camryn Manheim, Daniel Marmion, Academy and Golden Globe Award winner and Emmy Award nominee Marlee Matlin, Austin McKenzie, Andy Mientus, Anthony Natale, Patrick Page, Ren, Krysta Rodriguez, Daniel David Stewart, Ali Stroker, Alexandria Wailes, Alexandra Winter and Alex Wyse. Both Matlin and Manheim will play their final performances Jan. 10.

The musical plays the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street).
