News Spring Awakening's Robi Hager to Play Joe's Pub Robi Hager, seen on Broadway in the Tony Award-winning musical Spring Awakening, will make his solo cabaret debut Jan. 18, 2011, at Joe’s Pub.

Show time at the intimate venue located within the Public Theater is 9:30 PM.

The young singing actor will be joined on stage by his siblings, John Hager, Jr. and Daniele Hager, and his father, John Hager,  who will play the trombone. The rest of the band will include Thad DeBrock on guitar, Alan Stevens Hewitt on bass, Alisa Horn on cello and Alex Rivas on drums.

The evening will chronicle the actor's journey from Mexico to New York a decade ago and will feature original arrangements of classic songs by Rufus Wainwright, The Eagles, Simon & Garfunkel, Billy Joel and more. The songs were arranged by Hager and Robert Felstein, who will provide musical direction for the concert.

Hager also appeared in last year's Broadway revival of Bye Bye Birdie.
