News Spring Episode of "Modern Family" Will Take Theatrical Turn Some of Broadway's greats will be referenced on an upcoming spring episode of ABC's "Modern Family," according to TVGuide.com.

Actor Eric Stonestreet, who plays Cameron on the comedy series, gets involved in the kid's school music program and "wants to introduce them to musical greats like Bernstein and Sondheim," he said.

And, things may get out of hand. According to young actor Nolan Gould, "Luke gets stuck hanging on a wire for hours," he added.

"Modern Family" also stars Ed O'Neill as Jay Pritchett, Julie Bowen as Claire Dunphy, Ty Burrell as Phil Dunphy, Sofia Vergara as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Mitchell Pritchett, Sarah Hyland as Haley Dunphy, Ariel Winter as Alex Dunphy and Rico Rodriguez as Manny Delgado.

"Modern Family" airs Wednesdays at 9 PM ET. Check local listings.
