Classic Arts News Springfield (Missouri) Ballet Executive Director Resigns Scott Miller, executive director of the Missouri-based Springfield Ballet, has resigned, effective in January, reports the Springfield News Leader.
Board member Kay Osborne confirmed the resignation to the News Leader. and said that the board will meet in January to discuss finding a replacement for Miller.

Miller is resigning to pursue other interests, but has no formal employment plans.

The Springfield Ballet was established in 1976. Miller, a Springfield native, has also developed education outreach programs for a series of touring musicals. He has directed and choreographed more than 12 local productions and performed in more than 24 productions.
