St. Ann's artistic director Susan Feldman hosts the 6:30 PM discussion with TR Warszawa artistic director Grzegorz Jarzyna at the Martin E. Segal Theatre, CUNY (365 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan). The discussion is free and open to the public.

Presented by Polish theatre company TR Warszawa, Macbeth will be staged in an outdoor theatre – across the street from St. Ann's – in the Civil-War era Tobacco Warehouse on the Brooklyn Waterfront.

The production – running June 17-29 – utilizes a dramatic two-story set, video walls, special effects and an underscore of original composition, pop songs, sound effects and spoken text. Macbeth will be performed in Polish with English supertitles.

TR Warszawa was previously represented in New York with Krum, which was part of BAM's Next Wave Festival in October 2007. The Warsaw-based company produces innovatively staged adaptations of classical works and new works from emerging Polish playwrights. At the age of 30, Jarzyna is Poland's youngest theatre artistic director.

Tickets for Macbeth can be purchased by calling (718) 254-8779 or online at stannswarehouse.org. St. Ann's Warehouse is located at 38 Water Street (between Main and Dock St.) in Brooklyn, NY.
