News St. Ann's Warehouse Moves Free Fela! Concert Indoors Oct. 4 Rain won't cancel the free Brooklyn concert boasting music from the Broadway musical Fela!, but it will move the party indoors. St. Ann's Warehouse, which is offering the evening as the first presentation of its 2010-2011 season, will hold the concert at its Water Street home in Dumbo.

Tony Award nominee Sahr Ngaujah and the band from the Broadway production of Fela! will lead the concert that was originally scheduled to take place on Pier 1 of Brooklyn Bridge Park. The current New York City weather conditions have forced St. Ann's to change its plans for the evening.

St. Ann's will open its doors at 6 PM prior to the free 6:30 PM concert. Seating at St. Ann's is very limited and is on a on a first come-first served basis.

Fela! opened on Broadway at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Nov. 23, 2009, after an acclaimed run Off-Broadway in 2008 at 37 Arts. A London production will begin at the National Theatre Nov. 6.

The St. Ann's season will continue with the American premiere of Enda Walsh's latest play, Penelope, running Oct. 23-Nov. 14.
